MINION
An ape-like robot, Minion, is Megamind’s personal assistant. Blindly devoted to his boss and friend, his deepest wish is to be promoted from mere “minion” to full-fledged “sidekick.”

The swaggering, crime-fighting icon is everything a superhero should be – honorable, invincible and universally adored. He flies, shoots lasers from his eyes and even looks good in tights. His frequent battles with Megamind, his arch enemy, have become routine and predictable. To everyone’s surprise – even Metro Man himself – Megamind’s latest strategy proves successful: he destroys Metro Man, leaving Metro City hopeless and hero-less.

Metro Man’s girlfriend, Roxanne, is a smart, practical journalist. Once a young reporter with dreams of a Pulitzer, she has become a popular columnist covering Metro Man’s exploits in Metro City. What’s more, her repeated kidnappings at the hands of Megamind have become tiresome. But when her super-boyfriend is destroyed and the landscape of power in Metro City shifts, new developments in the good-versus-evil department may just become a topic worth of writing home about.
